The Lebanese Civil Defence is welcoming new volunteers to join its teams in every governorate. Volunteers are at the heart of our work: they respond to fires, take part in search and rescue missions, transport patients and help their communities prepare for emergencies.
Who can apply
- Lebanese citizens aged 18 and over
- Good physical health and a commitment to serve
- Previous first aid or rescue experience is welcome but not required
What you will learn
New volunteers receive training in first aid, firefighting basics, rescue techniques and safety procedures, and are attached to the centre closest to where they live.
Fill in the online application form — it takes about five minutes.
