The Civil Defence hotline 125 is free and answered around the clock, from anywhere in Lebanon. Call it for fires, people trapped or injured, building collapses, floods, road accidents needing rescue, and any situation where lives or property are in danger.
What to say
- Where you are: town, street, nearby landmark
- What is happening: fire, injury, collapse, flooding…
- How many people are involved and whether anyone is trapped
- A phone number where you can be reached
While you wait
- Stay on the line until the operator tells you to hang up
- Keep yourself and others at a safe distance from the danger
- Send someone to guide the team to the exact location if you can
