The Media and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defence issued the following statement:
The Director General of Civil Defence, Brigadier General Imad Khreich, received in his office the head of the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L), Italian Major General Domenico Leotta, in the presence of the Honorary Consul of Italy in Lebanon, Ahmad Saklawi.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation and support for the Civil Defence’s capabilities, particularly in operational and training areas, and strengthening readiness to face disasters and crises. Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination to develop the Civil Defence’s capabilities and support its missions.
